This April, OZEN LIFE MAADHOO will offer an unparalleled, once-in-a-lifetime experience for dessert lovers and art enthusiasts alike. From April 24th to 26th, the resort will host the groundbreaking collaboration with acclaimed pastry chef Janice Wong, where chocolate becomes more than just a treat-It transforms into a breathtaking work of art.

Chef Wong, renowned for her boundary-pushing approach to dessert, will take her creativity to new heights, bringing a series of innovative, interactive chocolate masterpieces to the island. The star of the show is a stunning, three-meter-tall edible chocolate wall, inspired by the Maldives’ vibrant marine ecosystem. This towering creation will feature intricate coral-like designs, inviting guests to pluck hand-painted bonbons from over 100 “reef-like” cavities, offering an unforgettable immersive experience.

But that’s just the beginning. Chef Wong will also host live dessert stations at the resort’s exclusive overwater venues, where guests can indulge in extravagant creations such as Yuzu Meringue Clouds and Salted Caramel Lava Spheres. Each sweet treat will be carefully paired with dessert wines, selected by a sommelier to heighten the flavor experience. These stations will create a dynamic atmosphere where dessert and art blends seamlessly, providing guests with an experience that’s as visually striking as it is delicious.

On April 24th, the collaboration reaches its peak with a four-hands gourmet dinner at the underwater restaurant M6m- Minus Six Meters. Chef Wong will join forces with OZEN LIFE MAADHOO’s Executive Chef Alok to curate a mind-blowing dessert degustation menu, offering a fresh take on Maldivian flavors through modernist techniques. With just 40 seats available, this intimate, exclusive event promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime culinary adventure.

Young guests won’t miss out on the fun either. Chef Wong will lead daily chocolate art workshops, where families can unleash their creativity by crafting edible masterpieces using chocolate crayons, rice paper, and miniature canvases. Each child will leave with their own personalized chocolate creation and a keepsake brochure to remember the experience.

Chef Wong sums it up perfectly: “The Maldives is an endless source of inspiration for me. This collaboration is my way of blending art, nature, and food into something unforgettable.”

With every experience seamlessly included in OZEN LIFE MAADHOO’s indulgence plan, guests can enjoy this luxurious, boundary-pushing fusion of art, nature, and gastronomy without limits.
